Operated by the Commemorative Air Force out of Mesa AZ, the Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress "Sentimental Journey" (1 of 4 Airworthy) and the North American B-25J Mitchell "Maid in the Shade" (1 of 34 Airworthy) are two of the last remaining WWII bombers capable and qualified to fly. These WWII aircraft are pictured below during their stop in Lethbridge, Alberta in the summer of 2023.
